This is a most unusual and sought-after tree. It is most noted for its large white bracts - hence the common name of Handkerchief tree - which appear in late spring. When these bracts are on the tree it makes a very imprssive sight. It must be noted that it can take at least ten years to flower! This tree requires a relatively sheltered position in the garden and prefers moist but well-drained soil in sun or light shade. It can grow to 15 m. Best grown as a specimen tree. A very choice plant for the Spring garden. 7.5 litre container. Plants are 4-5ft tall.

Please note, plants displayed on this website are not all available year-round, and include plants that may or may not be in stock. Size and price is indicative but is subject to change. Please contact us via email to check availability.
