Hop plants make great climbers, and are as often used as ornamental plants as for their use in beer making. They will climb up wires on a wall, fence or a teepee-shape made out of wires. They require full sun and moist, well drained soil. Although a climbing plant, hops are actually herbaceaous, meaning that they die back to gound level over the winter. Height that a mature plant grown to is approx 15-20 feet. The casing left after flowering is used in making beer. 50-60cms tall plants in a 2-3L pot. Please note, items displayed on this website may not be available in each of our shops.
