
Most gardens in Ireland could be characterised as being by the sea: but some are nearer than others. The sea creates its own set of issues for gardeners, including strong winds, salty air generally high exposure to the elements. On the other hand, it provides opportunities, as temperatures are buffered from extremes. We have planted many garden right by the sea and have gained particular expertise in this field.
