About Howbert & Mays Gardens

Three garden centres and one online garden shop.  Plants are chosen that will will thrive in the Irish climate, and come from Irish growers wherever possible. Tools are selected to be functional, long lasting and reliable, frequently made by long-established manufacturers. Fertilisers and growing aids are organic, nature-based. Since we set up our first shop in Monkstown in 2012, no chemical weedkillers, fungicides or fertilisers are stocked. Our website sells only a small portion of what we have in stock, so if you're a garden lover, or looking to bbuy plants, tools or something special, please drop into one of our shops.

Monkstown: Right on the street on Monkstown Crescent, we opened our doors in April of 2012. Although not a large garden centre by most standards, we manage to stock an enormous range of indoor and outdoor plants and other garden-related items, thanks to the fact that there is new stock coming and going on a constant basis. Right in the heart of Monkstown, there are plenty of other great shops, cafés and restaurants in our neighbourhood. Parking can be difficult, but just drive around the block and you're sure to find a spot quickly. Read more about Monkstown...
