Not your ordinary hydrangea - this striking shrub is perfect for a shady border where its creamy-green sprays of flowers are most impressive. The flower colour is hard to define, ranging from creamy-white to lime green fading to pink. The flowers in late summer make excellent cut flowers for flower arranging and can also be dried. The flowers are large and numerous, and this plant won the Royal Horticulatural Society's Award of Garden Merit and an 'Excellent' rating in 2008. Plant in light shade or shade in moist, well-drained soil. Cut back hard each spring, removing the previous year's growth. A much praised plant, perfect for anyone with a shady spot. Maximum height and spread, if un-pruned: 2.5 x 2 m. 3 litre container.
