One of the most beautiful, delicate and unusual flowers. The Snake's head fritillary is a truly unique plant. Its mottled bell-shaped flowers nod lightly on delicate stems, with an unmistakable, snake-like pattern. Flowers are normally mottled purple, but can also be a mottled creamy white.  Best grown in damp soil, at the edge of moist woodlands or grassland, in sun or light shade. It flowers between March - May. Native to Northern Europe, including England. 7-9cm pot with multiple bulbs. Please note: items displayed on this website may not be in stock in each of our shops.
