Spindle, Peg bush, An Feoras (bare root)
A fast-growing, vigorous native shrub or small tree which has unusual bright pink and orange berries in autumn, combined with excellent red autumn colour. This is a super plant for a native hedgerow. As well as looking good, the berries are tasty for birds (but not suitable for human consumption). Plant in mixed hedgerows with other native species or as a woodland understorey. Incospicuous for many months of the year, but showy at the end of the year and in winter when colour is much needed. Suitable for most soil and conditions, excluding very waterlogged soils.
- November to March only.
- Well-rooted bare root plants 60-90 cms tall.
Note on delivery: Due to the labour and handling involved, bare root orders can take 3-4 weeks. We email you before delivery so that you will know when to expect delivery. Trees are carefully wrapped and are delivered via courier. Read more on bare root plants...
