Leptospermum scoparium 'Crimson Glory

'Crimson Glory' Tea tree

Price: €8.95

A great plant for bees and bee-keepers. This evergreen shrub can be grown as a specimen or in a hedge and is tolerant of maritime exposure. Plants should not be trimmed back into old wood, however, because they do not regenerate from such treatment. The fresh, pungent leaves are fragrant and can be used fresh or dried for a refreshing tea substitute. Masses of crimson flowers in late spring and summer. Height and spread approx 100-150cm. Best in well-drained, mildly acidic soil in full sun or partial shade. Good seaside plants. 3L pot. Please note, items displayed on this website may not be available in each of our shops. (A)
