Tulbaghia violacea 'Silver Lace'

Society garlic 'Silver Lace'

Price: €9.95

A plant with a very long period of blooming - and it thrives on neglect! This is a lovely plant, similar to Agapanthus in its looks, but smaller and more delicate. It blooms month after month during the summer and all the way into late autumn. Although it smells very strongly of onion it is not edible and should not be planted where it get lots of brushing against as the onion smell can be very overpowering. This is an excellent choice for a pot or container as it tolerates dry conditions very well and seems to bloom better when confined. The lilac flowers match well to the silver-green foliage. Well drained soil in a bright spot. It can take cold temperatures, but no frost, so best grown in coastal areas. 3L container.
