Rosemary is small evergreen shrub whose scented foliage is a staple of Mediterranean cooking and an essential ingredient in many dishes. This variety, which was found in Fota Gardens in Co. Cork, has a compact, arching, prostrate habit and is low growing. Also ideal in a rocky spot where it will crawl along the ground, or in a smaller garden where traditional rosemary would be too big. Great as a small shrub, even if not used in the kitchen. Plant in a sunny spot in well-drained soil. It has small but attractive bright-blue flowers in spring and often again in autumn. Medicinally used to treat headaches, depression and migraines. A slightly more tender rosemary, best grown away from frost-prone areas. Maximum height 40cm, spread 60cm. 2L container. Please note, items displayed on this website may not be available in each of our shops.
