Lavender 'Vera' is sometimes referred to as 'true lavender' as it is an old species, much prized in the production of lavender oil. It is one of the hardiest, most long-lived lavenders, with good compact growth habit and grey-green, almost evergreen foliage. The flowers are pale mauve. Like most lavenders, it should be planted in well-drained soil in a bright part of the garden. Clip it back lightly after flowering in midsummer and again in autumn. Good seaside tolerance. For a hedge, plant approx 2 plantes per metre. Established plants in a 5L pot. Plants aren't always in bloom when supplied. Please note, items displayed on this website may not be available in each of our shops.
